Local sources of renewable energy, most often PV, are created in Poland like the proverbial “mushrooms after the rain”. At the same time, in many parts of the country, distribution system operators report serious problems with local overloading of the low-voltage grid. Such an imbalance not only limits the current level of network infrastructure security, but in many cases is a critical barrier to the development of new network services, such as a fast charging system for electric vehicles. The solution to the problem may be the installation of Power Booster class energy storage, which ETC+ is now introducing to the Polish market.
